Researcher team
Dr. Rocco Salvatore Calabrò, with a good experience on Neurorehabilitation with regard to stroke, will coordinate the team.
The team will benefit from the support of staff from the Nurorehabilitation Units of the Center, to which Dr Leo (the CoPI, skilled in innovative technology and neuromodulation) belongs. Dr Garzon, supported by the multi-professional team of her IRCCS, will assure the expertise for speech and cognitive treatments.
Dr Celesti, supported by his coworkers, will be involved in ICT and HTA management.
Of interest, the project will be performed in two different Italian districts (i.e. Messina and Venice, which are located in the South and North of Italy, respectively, and have different territorial geography and healthcare systems) so to better evaluate the feasibility of the system and give more reliable data that could be somehow generalized to the Italian territory and

The IRCCS San Camillo of Venice is a health structure with 109 beds meanly dedicated to the rehabilitation of head and spinal trama, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and neuropatients: it carries out neurological rehabilitation activities.
